Bronco Club - Fun. Learning. Peace of Mind
Mustang's Bronco Club provides after-school care for your child and is run by certified teachers and administrators. It isn't babysitting. It's an after-school program that incorporates enrichment opportunities. In addition to some free time to play, students will have the opportunity to get help with homework, explore technology, enjoy games,  STEM activities and arts and crafts in a safe, caring environment.
2017-18 Enrollment Now Open
Parents may now enroll their child(ren) for the 2017-18 school year for students in grades Pre-K through 6th grade; Pre-K is available only at elementary sites.  Parents will need to complete the Application, Permission Form, and Request for Medication (if applicable) and submit to the administration building along with a $25 per child enrollment fee.  Twenty-four hour notice is required; once the Bronco Club office receives all necessary documentation your student(s) will be admitted into the program.
Parents may choose to send their student(s) for 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week, the cost is $12 per day.  Students must attend the same days each week to allow for proper staffing and appropriate number of supplies to be available.  For more detailed information, please refer to the 2017-18 Handbook.
We have implemented a new drop-in care option at a rate of $25 per day.  Twenty-four hour notice is required for drop-in care as well.  Again, please refer to the handbook for more information.
We are implementing a new payment system and will be able to accept payments beginning August 7th.  Information will be provided when available to MPS.  For now, only cash and check payments are accepted at the MPS Administration building located at 906 S. Heights Dr, Mustang.
Enrollment open for Bronco Club Summer Camp

Mustang Public Schools is offering a week-by-week summer camp for students who have completed pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. Bronco Club Summer Camp is an extension of the new after-school program MPS opened for the 2016-2017 school year. Just like the school-year BroncoClub, certified teachers will run the summer program as well. The summer camp will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and held at Mustang Trails Elementary, 12025 SW 15th Street.

Every week has a theme and a field trip. Bronco Club Director Kris Green said parents need only to sign up for the weeks they need.

“If a family is planning a vacation for one week over the summer, they don’t have to sign up or pay for that week,” she said.

Bronco Club Summer Camp starts May 30 and ends Aug. 4. Typical five-day weeks are $150 for the first child and $130 for any siblings. The first week, May 30 through June 2, a four-day week, is $120 for the first camper. July 5-7, a three-day week, is $90 for the first camper. The same $20 discount for siblings apply.

“Every week will have a theme,” Green said. “The first week will introduce the kids to activities that involve science, technology engineering and math (STEM). Throughout the summer the campers will learn about horses, have a week of water games, learn about exotic animals and more. Each week will include a trip to the Mustang Aquatic Center and include either a guest speaker or a second field trip.”

To sign up your child for the program download the enrollment packet at right. There is a one-time $25 per child enrollment fee.  Payments must be made two weeks prior to the start of each camp and may be made online at or in person.  See enrollment packet for details.

Bronco Club provides a safe, secure environment for kids with the people who know how to work with them; teachers.  All children must be signed out by parents or another adult authorized by the parents. Children will never be released without authorization and appropriate identification.  Please refer to the Parent Handbook for more detailed safety rules and other policies.
