The first chapter of my life took place in the small town of Anadarko, Oklahoma. I went to Anadarko Public Schools throughout my elementary through high school years. After completing high school, I went to University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha, Oklahoma. While there, I met my husband of 8 years.  At USAO, I received my Bachelor's of Science degree, majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Liberal Arts.
After graduation, I went back to my hometown, where I taught 6th grade ELA for five years. I was able to make many wonderful memories in my hometown of Anadarko.  However, my husband and I decided to move closer to his career, which landed us in Mustang. We are very thankful for his career choice because Mustang is a wonderful community! This will be my sixth year teaching In Mustang.  I am excited about what the next chapter here may have in store!
My husband and I have a little boy, Easton, and a German Shepherd named Boomer. We enjoy our family time as much as possible! When I am not chasing Easton and Boomer around, I enjoy reading, swimming, running, spending time with friends, and visiting my family back in Anadarko.
