Birthday Policy

Our district has modified the current birthday party snack policy.  Student birthdays will now be recognized once a month.  All students recognizing a birthday for that month will bring their treat the same day.  We will recognize birthdays the last Friday of each month. November, December, and May birthdays will be celebrated earlier (date below).  Parents are welcome to send store bought snacks with their child the morning of the designated day or they may drop them off at the office before 1:00 p.m.  As much as we love for parents to stay for school activities, parents are not allowed to stay during birthday snacks.

If you would like to bring a treat, please let me know ahead of time so I know how many to expect. Also, please remember there might be multiple people bringing things, so please send MINI cookies/cupcakes or another small treat.  Other suggestions are fruit gushers, fruit roll ups, little debbies, and mini brownie bites. Please do not feel obligated to send any birthday snacks.  This is strictly voluntary! I will still recognize our students on their actual birthday with a certificate and a treat from me.  I appreciate your understanding and I appreciate everything you do for your students!

Thank you,

Mrs. Howard
